By accessing or using Trovi ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Description of service

Trovi is a cross-platform link collection application that allows you to save, organize, and share web content. The Service includes mobile applications (iOS, Android), a web application, and associated backend services.

Account registration and responsibility

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Save, organize, or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our express permission.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content.

Content ownership and license

• You retain ownership of all content you save to Trovi (URLs, notes, collections, and associated metadata).
• By using the Service, you grant Trovi a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.
• This license terminates when you delete your content or your account.
• Trovi does not claim ownership of any third-party content accessible through saved URLs.

Content processing

• When you save a URL, Trovi automatically fetches and processes the linked webpage to extract metadata (title, description, images, structured data).
• This processing may involve third-party services, including AI/LLM providers, for content analysis and categorization.
• Trovi processes publicly accessible webpage content only — your personal data is not shared with content extraction services.

• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
• The URL or specific location within Trovi where the alleged infringing material is found.

Service availability

• Trovi is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
• We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice.
• We may perform scheduled maintenance that temporarily affects availability.

Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the app's Account screen.
• We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including but not limited to ownership, warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TROVI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, BE AVAILABLE ON AN UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE BASIS, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TROVI, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM: (A) YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF OUR SERVERS AND/OR ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION STORED THEREIN; (C) ANY INTERRUPTION OR CESSATION OF TRANSMISSION TO OR FROM THE SERVICE; (D) ANY BUGS, VIRUSES, OR THE LIKE THAT MAY BE TRANSMITTED TO OR THROUGH THE SERVICE BY ANY THIRD PARTY.

Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Trovi operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
